I picked wild blueberries and lingonberries in the forest with a couple of fellow volunteers today. Now the question is what to do with all of these berries. Thoughts?
Wow, Emma…fresh wild blueberries. I’d start with eating them by the handful. Then the possibilities are endless! Sprinkle them on a salad with nuts and cheese (preferably goat) or over yogurt/ice cream; bake them in muffins/bread (or in pancakes, says Trent). I can’t remember what lingonberries taste like. They look delicious, delicate and so colorful in your beautiful photos. You’re such a creative cook…report back and let us know what you create!
Yes! Eat them by the handful, and whatever is left over you can make into muffins or scones – or pancakes 🙂 Your photos are beautiful!
